Survival Kit – Make it Recession Proof

If you read the daily newspaper, you’re about 2 years behind schedule. Sure you will be up on the days murders, rapes, kidnappings, and car crashes, but you will be way behind on what actually matters for your personal survival, or better yet, your sur-thrival. After all, survival is necessary, but living at that level for any period of time can be taxing. You want to survive and thrive! Let me show how I’ve managed to do that, and you can do the same.

Leverage is the Switch to Surthrival

I’m a big fan of leverage. If there is an opportunity to take something and have the opportunity for exponential results, I’m all over it. This goes for my wealth, and my health. Some may call it greed, I call it being smart and efficient.

For me to leverage the most out of my life, and offer protection of my assets (health, wealth, and happiness) I require only 5 physical things.

Surthrival Item #1 – Laptop

As an internet network marketer, a laptop (and a signal) means I can market my business to millions of people across the world, which of course gives me a broader reach for my potential customers. Obviously, this translates into an income, which is required in a modern day society to survive and thrive.

This laptop also allows me to trade stocks and commodities, which can add to my streams of income by making my money work for me (quite a concept for those who work for their money for a lifetime).

The last thing a laptop allows me to do is stay on top of the news outside the mainstream media, which is normally 2-3 years behind. You simply can’t be cutting edge by watching the puppets squawk about the inside information they have for you, and the millions of others watching the same channel.

Surthrival Item #2 – Cell Phone

Although my cell phone can often double as a laptop, the technology is not quite mainstream enough in computers to be able to skype everyone I need to chat to with to keep my affairs in order.

A cell phone has allowed me to be permanently mobile, always within reach, and allows me to contact people virtually no matter where I am (with exception of maybe Antarctica…can you hear me now?).

Cell phones have simply become indispensable and leverage my ability to conduct business everywhere, minus a glacial sheet (which is a shame, as I’m sure coffee would sell well in those parts).

Surthrival Item #3 – Superfood

Being able to leverage my health is just as or more important than my wealth.

Being a very busy person means that I don’t always have the time to assemble a tasty, yet nutritious meal. It’s in times like that, that I’m grateful for superfood formulations.

In something as simple as a smoothie, I can pack in more nutrition through superfoods and formulas than most people get in a week, or even a month! This not only leverages my time, and my health, but also creates the energy I require to be on top of my physical and mental game every single day.

Surthrival Item #4 – Gold

?Gold is not just protection against fiat currency. Its also an explosive investment when paper currency is headed for a bathroom stall at the local mall.
Gold will always offer real value, not just for monetary reasons, but also for industrial reasons. So as its offering you personal financial protection against an economic meltdown, it helps keep your electronics operational as well.

In times where paper currency is in question, there’s no better investment in my opinion than resources, and gold being at the top of my list. Where else could you get near a 700% rise in the past 8 years in a physical commodity, with plenty of room to grow?

Surthrival Item #5 – Coffee

Coffee is something of a cultural fabric. It has become so ingrained into society that it’s hard to imagine the world without it (which is why its the #2 traded commodity after oil).

Coffee can offer leverage in a number of ways. It can be traded, it can be set up as a business, and it can be used to squeeze out additional energy when its needed the most.

Of course, for me coffee is not good enough on its own. So I only drink healthier coffee so I still manage to leverage my health, as well as my energy. Its really a win-win situation.

Of course, with all of these things comes more time freedom and energy, which really allows me to do what I really want and thats spend more time having fun with my family going places that only this kind of freedom can provide.

So there you have it, the 5 things I need to have in some form or another to not only survive, but thrive in any environment.
