At the request of their past training participants, Trade Centre Training have added a two-day PAT testing course to their already enviable range of practical plumbing and electrical courses and the PAT testing course- just like every one of the others- is verifiably underpinned by City & Guilds. The PAT testing course is somewhat bespoke and was created in-house by the experienced team at Trade Centre Training; it was formed with practicing electricians in mind who have a desire to move onto the testing of Portable Electrical Equipment as part of their service packages.
This PAT testing course can offer you the practical skills to recognise hazards and know how to reduce the risk and rectify the root cause of the problem, before deeming the device ‘safe’ for use under the Health and Safety at Work Guidelines. And fully flexible with full-time shift workers in mind; the PAT testing course is made available both throughout the week and at the weekends to make it fully accessible to anyone with any unusual working habits. Training will always begin promptly at 9.00am and runs through with a lunch break until 5.00pm on both days. With two examinations of varying length (one 100 minutes and the other 80 minutes); this PAT testing course will be so in depth that the team promise that failure is not an option. Please note however, that some background electrical experience is desirable.
