Healthy Actions – Improve Your Health Right Away

Recently, I wrote about the top 10 products I keep around to ensure that I avoid any type of sickness. Before I utilized these products on a daily basis, I first had to take some other powerful actions in order to give my body a “reset”. How do you reset your body back to normal? Read on.

#1 Healthy Action – Colon Cleanse

Unless you have been eating a clean, organic, and detoxifying diet for a large part of your lifetime, chances are you need a colon cleanse.

According to some authority figures, 90% of all chronic diseases are due to an infection of the gastrointestinal tract. With that figure in mind, it makes sense to set up a little defence against bacteria, viruses, and other foreign invaders that create infections.

There are various cleansing kits that you can do at home (follow instructions), and procedures that allow a gentle “washing” of the build up (a coffee enema, for example).

Find out why this action is of utmost importance.

#2 Healthy Action – Yeast Cleanse

It has also been observed that 80% of people suffer from some type of yeast infection.

This is not hard to imagine considering antibiotic use, heavy metal poisoning, and a diet rich in simple carbs and sugars that feeds a yeast overgrowth like gas feeds a bonfire.

Wondering if you need a yeast cleanse? You can find a simple test here. However, the odds are you have some sort of yeast overgrowth wreaking havoc in your body.

There are also various yeast and candida cleanses that work well to rid yourself of excessive yeast in your intestinal system.

#3 Healthy Action – Parasite Cleanse

Again, the numbers are startling.

90% of people are estimated to be suffering from a parasite infection. This causes a host of unpleasant symptoms, many of which can be found here.

If you truly want to be healthy, a parasite cleanse is a must on your list of actions.

#4 Healthy Action – Heavy Metal Cleanse

We’ve been exposed to heavy metals through our food, water, deodorants, cigarette smoke, drugs, vaccines, and our silver fillings.

Heavy metals will create a toxic environment in your body, and can facilitate an unhealthy colon and mind.

The removal of these heavy metals are necessary, but keep in mind you need to be more careful when doing this type of cleanse.

#5 Action – Liver Cleanse

Your liver is the prime detoxification organ, and often we overload it like a shopping cart at Walmart on roll back days.

If your liver is unable to remove your toxins, it will store it to keep it from entering your bloodstream where it can do more damage. Essentially, your liver is taking one for the team.

There is a very good chance that your liver has stored up some toxins and it needs help releasing them in order to make it more effective, and to release your toxic load.

Find out why you may be angry and how a liver detox can help.

#6 Healthy Action – Take a Probiotic

Once you have been successful in cleaning up your gastrointestinal system, its time to re-seed to grow healthy bacteria that have in all likelihood been cleared out as a result of antibiotics, heavy metals, and other toxins.

A well balanced intestinal system is key to good health. A quality probiotic may be required to get that balance back that you have lost from years of mistreatment.

Try looking for one that is dairy free (as dairy often causes more problems in an already unhealthy gut) with as many strains of bacteria as possible.

Find out why probiotics are essential.

#7 Healthy Action – Drink Wheatgrass

Is there anything wheatgrass can’t do?

Wheatgrass is a source of complex nutrition, and is rich in chlorophyll, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. It is highly alkalizing, anti-bacterial, and detoxifying as well as improving digestion, regularity, and maintaining healthy blood.

Bottom line, to detoxify and enrich your blood (which carries these vitamins and minerals to your muscles, tissues, and organs), wheatgrass is a home run. Every diet should incorporate it to achieve wellness, and keep it at a high level.

#8 Healthy Action – Take Ganoderma (Reishi)

Ganoderma has more health benefits and research than you can shake a stick at (and ironically, it grows on sticks, big ones, AKA fallen tree logs).

Primarily used in Asia for over 2000 years, it is now becoming recognized as an incredibly important herb for its ability to normalize and balance bodily functions (the key to health).

This herb has the complexity and benefits of wheatgrass, and a strong adaptogenic quality to boot. It assists with sleep improvement, anxiety, allergies, and a very wide range of diseases.

#9 Healthy Action – Whole Food Supplement

Part of a healthy body is a healthy diet rich in various sources of nutrients.

Unfortunately, our day to day lives do not always make it easy to make changes that can incorporate that kind of nutrition.

This is where a whole food supplement makes sense. This simply means using whole foods and combining them together so that they can be used in a synergistic way so your body has optimal absorption.

Isolating vitamins and minerals and putting them together artificially in a formula is a good way to see any anticipated results go right down the toilet drain (literally). 90% of multivitamins on the market do exactly this with their formulas.

An example of a good whole food supplement can be seen here.

#10 Healthy Action – Exercise

Exercise helps circulate oxygen and keep the fluids moving through your body. This is very important to ensure your muscles, tissues, and organs are fed properly.

However, most people take exercise too seriously at the expense of nutrition. The reality is, the majority of your health comes from what you put inside your body. You have a much better chance of becoming healthy by focusing on a nutrient rich diet, than you do by running 30 mins a day.

Exercise can be something as simple as a brisk walk, light jog, or working around the yard. If you want to become much stronger, you will likely have to do more than that and also hit a gym.

Take your Time to Get Healthy

Even though some of you may want to get it done quick, or need to for your state of health, I advocate in taking your time and not stressing out about all the things you need to do to get healthy. After all, stress goes directly against what we are trying to accomplish.

Taking your time simply means enjoy the process and move along at a pace that gets your health in order, but not in a hurried pace that leaves you confused, anxious, or upset.

Obviously if you are dealing with a chronic health issue, you may want to exercise more action, and thats understandable. I’ve been there and done that.

But take time to understand your health and why you are doing each thing so you become an ambassador for your body and not a garbage disposal. Treat it like you would like to be treated.
