The Empower Network is a viral blogging system that was launched during Halloween time, and is now growing from strength to strength.
In the first 3 weeks of going live, the Empower Network paid out $1,000,000 in commissions. This is a very promising start for the viral blogging system and system founders David Wood and David Sharpe will hope to keep this momentum going.
The system is very similar to Multi Level Marketing and Network Marketing, but with a unique internet based twist. What happens is that when you sign up to the system, you are given your own blog on their website. This blog is already setup with the branding and banners and all you need to do is write the posts as all the technical details are taken care of for you.
When someone joins the empower network after visiting your blog then you get 100% of the commissions as an affiliate marketer. This entry level to the network is $25 a month and all of these goes to the affiliate, known as the sponsor.
There is a second level of membership known as the inner circle. The inner circle provides more advanced training and costs $125 a month. If someone upgrades to the inner circle then they are eligble to promote the inner circle as an affiliate in order to receive a potential $125 per month from the people that they refer.
Another unique aspect to this internet marketing system is the multi-level commissions. If you recommend that someone joins the empower network and then that person goes on to make many sales themselves, then some of those commissions will be passed back up to yourself.
The 2nd, 4th, 6th, 11th, and then one in every five referalls that an affiliate makes is passed back up to their sponsor.
This is what sets the system apart from other affiliate marketing schemes. You dont just make a one off sale and take the money. You work with the people that you refer because when they make more money, you make more money.
If there was to be a drawback about the system it would be that the initial membership level only provides training at a very basic level. In order for a beginner to make any significant volumes of commission they will need to get traffic to their blog but this is not covered in the training. David Sharpe and David Wood encourage you to post a new blog post every day, but they dont go into detail about how to get traffic to that blog post.
Because of this, it is a good idea to sign up with an affiliate that will be able to provide you with their own traffic generation tips and advice once you join their team. If you pick a good sponsor, and then go onto make lots of sales, it is a win-win situation all around.
