If you are working towards passing your IOSH Training Courses certification, here are some useful guidelines which will help you successfully pass the assessment:

The single best piece of advice is to read the sections carefully and take your time to find out what each section requires.

Don’t be afraid to ask the trainer if you are not sure about anything.

The exam or assessment is taken in two parts, a multiple-choice format exam and a project paper which will be based on your specific workplace.

The example will have multiple-choice questions where you are given six statements and you must identify three which are true. Read the statements carefully and don’t select any that you are not sure of. Try to first eliminate the ones that you know are wrong, which will make the correct answers easier to identify.

Some of the short answer questions will require you to give a list, so read the question carefully to ensure the list you are giving is relevant to the question.

A helpful tip could be to do the questions which you feel the most confident about first, this will give you more confidence for the rest of the assessment.

These tips should help you during the assessment on your IOSH Training Courses.
